Just a few things 2005-01-30 8:26 p.m. I'm so incredibly tired I don't even know where to begin.

I was working on schedules at work today, and unless they get me some help soon, I'm working a 17 hour shift on Wednesday, and I know I won't have a day off until the Glaciers in the Arctic melt. What does that mean? That means that I'm working 7 days a week, getting up at 4 am and getting to work no later than 5:30.

Oh, by the way.... I'm the new store manager. So, while it's tiring, and trying, it's worth it. I'm now on salary, and the amount is twice what I was making at the credit union on a weekly basis. I'll be bringing home more in one week than I did in two there. Funny how that works.

Scott will be back from Virginia tonight. So, I'll get to talk to him, which, is nice. I need to vent, and he's always good for that. He thinks I'm sexy when I'm mad. =)

Winter has hit here, finally, and it's so pristine and beautiful. I'm glad I work inside!

Okay, I need to run. Emma is staying with my parents tonight because I'd have to have her up and over here by 4:30 in the morning, so it's just easier to let her stay the night and I need to run home and get her pillow and jammies.

Oh, and Des and Kell.... you two are wonderful. Thanks for making me laugh!

Just a few things does the shoe fit you now

Hey hey, Cinderella, what's the story all about
I got a funny feeling we missed a page or two somehow
Ohh-ohhhh, Cinderella, maybe you could help us out
Does the shoe fit you now

Through the years and the kids and the jobs
And the dreams that lost their way
Do you ever stop and wonder
Do you ever just wanna say

Hey hey, Cinderella, what's the story all about
I got a funny feeling we missed a page or two somehow
Ohh-ohhhh, Cinderella, maybe you could help us out
Does the shoe fit you now

We're older but no more the wise
We've learned the art of compromise
Sometimes we laugh, sometimes we cry
And sometimes we just break down
