A Real Woman 2004-11-13 5:12 p.m. What this woman needs, is someone to hold....

Someone told me yesterday that the fact that I now cook and clean on a daily basis, albeit at work, makes me a real woman. That really made me think, because all this time, here I'm thinking that I already was a real woman.

So, what is a real woman?

A real woman is tall, thin and beautiful. She's a little shorter, has amazing curves and a few extra pounds.

A real woman has passion for everything she does, even if it's something she doesn't really like doing.

A real woman works in the office, as a secretary, as a loan officer, as a CEO.

A real woman is a stay at home mom who volenteers at her childs school and has dinner ready every day when her husband comes home.

A real woman takes pride in every accomplishement, no matter how large or small.

A real woman works on a construction site.

A real woman works in a bakery making treats for the people who come by in the mornings, just to eat her one of a kind pastries.

A real woman rocks her babies to sleep at night, singing a song she made up just for them.

A real woman is every woman, no matter what she does, or who she is.

Women are special.

They are sweet, soft, and some of the strongest people to ever have lived.

Every woman is a hero in her own right, in someones eyes, even if it is only her own.

I am a real woman. A Real Woman does the shoe fit you now

Hey hey, Cinderella, what's the story all about
I got a funny feeling we missed a page or two somehow
Ohh-ohhhh, Cinderella, maybe you could help us out
Does the shoe fit you now

Through the years and the kids and the jobs
And the dreams that lost their way
Do you ever stop and wonder
Do you ever just wanna say

Hey hey, Cinderella, what's the story all about
I got a funny feeling we missed a page or two somehow
Ohh-ohhhh, Cinderella, maybe you could help us out
Does the shoe fit you now

We're older but no more the wise
We've learned the art of compromise
Sometimes we laugh, sometimes we cry
And sometimes we just break down
