Ramble, Bramble, and Boo 2004-07-15 2:21 p.m. The Village Voice 4th Annual Siren Music Festival is this weekend. It features not only Mission of Burma but Death Cab For Cutie and Blonde Redhead.

I wanna go.

Do you hear the whining starting?

So go! You say... Yeah, it's in NYC, and I'm, obviously not.

One more reason I need to live in the city.

I'm bored out of my friggin' mind at work today. I've actually gotten most of my work done this week, which doesn't happen very often. Now, I'll just have to spend the rest of the time I have organizing the mess of a desk I've left now that I've gotten all the real research and papers taken care of... or not.

I promised earlier that I'd post the letter I received from my brother yesterday on here... but I may not. We'll see. I'm still tyring to decide if I want to keep this one for myself.

In the mean time, you may just have to put up with my rambling rather than his amazing and beautiful words. He's so awesome.

~M. Ramble, Bramble, and Boo does the shoe fit you now

Hey hey, Cinderella, what's the story all about
I got a funny feeling we missed a page or two somehow
Ohh-ohhhh, Cinderella, maybe you could help us out
Does the shoe fit you now

Through the years and the kids and the jobs
And the dreams that lost their way
Do you ever stop and wonder
Do you ever just wanna say

Hey hey, Cinderella, what's the story all about
I got a funny feeling we missed a page or two somehow
Ohh-ohhhh, Cinderella, maybe you could help us out
Does the shoe fit you now

We're older but no more the wise
We've learned the art of compromise
Sometimes we laugh, sometimes we cry
And sometimes we just break down
