It's that halt that knocks you off your feet, for I truely believe that when you hear something that devastates you, the swaying of your body is not caused by the emotion, but really by the earth coming to a complete stop, even if only for a brief moment.
All too often we take for granted the people in our lives and I know that she feels like she did, and now, tries so hard not to let anyone know they are unloved.
She works in the community, volenteering her time, throughout the year, for several charities. She donates well over what she can afford to them. It's her way of showing people she's never met, and probably never will, that she cares. That someone, anyone, cares.
